Brissago Islands
The Brissago Islands are located in Lake Maggiore, opposite Brissago and Ascona. There are two islands. Luino market
Luino market is the largest and most famous market on Lake Maggiore. It takes place every Wednesday throughout the year. Stall holders sell items of clothing, food and many other commodities. Luino market is not far from Tenero and its location in the historic centre of town also makes it well worth a visit. More
"Carasc" Tibetan bridge
The bridge was erected at a height of 696 m and hangs 130 m above ground level at the centre. It allows safe passage over the rugged valley separating the municipalities of Monte Carasso and Sementina, and thus opens up new hiking opportunities in an area brimming with historic and scenic attractions and famed for its local delicacies.
