Cafeteria

The CST serves regional cuisine made with fresh, seasonal produce. Most of the fruit and vegetables come from local producers, and the meat is sourced from Switzerland.

Hostels: full board

Full board is compulsory for guests staying in hostels. The package includes:

Buffet breakfast

  • bread – cereals – muesli – milk
  • yoghurt – cheese – cold cuts
  • jam, butter – honey
  • coffee – tea – hot chocolate – fruit juices

Lunch and dinner

  • proteins of animal or plant origin (meat or fish, tofu, seitan, etc.)
  • carbohydrates (pasta, rice, cereals, potatoes)
  • side dishes (vegetables, salad buffet)
  • dessert (fruit or a dessert dish)

We serve water at the tables during main meals.

Depending on your requirements, we aim to serve a meal featuring your choice of carbohydrates at either lunch or dinner. Groups with specific dietary requirements are invited to contact our catering department. We are happy to discuss menus, timings or any special requests, subject to a possible surcharge depending on your requirements.

Allergies

Requests and details regarding specific allergies must be sent two weeks before arrival to the following email address: cstenero@baspo.admin.ch. Please also introduce yourself to the head chef at your first meal.

Vegetarians

The CST offers vegetarian options, ensuring a balanced diet.

Elite sports

We would ask coaches of elite sports teams with specific dietary requirements to let us know in advance.

Campsite: full board available

Groups staying at the campsite can also opt for full board.

*For swimming clubs training between 7am and 9am, breakfast is available from 6.20am on request.

As a general rule, groups staying at the campsite have their meals during the first sitting. Groups staying in the hostels have their meals during the second sitting. Meal times are subject to change depending on operational requirements. Please adhere to the times indicated and inform Reception of any requests for changes at least 48 hours before the relevant meal.

Meals

You can request a packed lunch instead of a meal. Orders, including any special requests and alternatives, must be placed approximately three weeks before arrival at the CST. Last-minute orders must be placed at least 48 hours before the packed lunch is due. Packed lunch bags must be collected on the agreed day after breakfast, from 7.30 am, at the Brere canteen.

Pasti extra oppure in orari particolari, non compresi nella pensione completa, vengono fatturati a parte. Non è possibile bonificare i pasti non consumati.
