Canoeing
CST provides opportunities for canoeing on Lake Maggiore and on the Ticino and Moesa rivers. Groups are advised to take at least three two-and-a-half-hour lessons over a period of a week to acquire the necessary skills and familiarity with the craft.
The available equipment meets all needs: lake kayaks, river kayaks, Canadian canoes, “sit-on-top” canoes (unsinkable), paddles, life jackets, wetsuit jackets and neoprene shoes, helmets. Groups engaging in activities outside CST can request a minibus and a canoe trailer.
Safety
Y+S courses must take place under the supervision of qualified and recognized Y+S instructors with a valid lifesaving qualification recognized by the the Swiss Lifesaving Association. Groups may comprise a maximum of 12 people for canoe tours on the lake and a maximum of 6 people for canoe trips on the river. If necessary, groups can contact Sisport Sagl to book qualified instructors. The recommended minimum age to practice this discipline is 10 years.

Water sports centre
The water sports centre is equipped for disciplines such as canoeing, catamaran, rowing, sailing, stand-up paddle, stand-up paddle polo and windsurfing.

Outdoor swimming pools
During the summer period, three swimming pools of different sizes and functionalities are available.

All sports facilities
The CST offers 180 different sports facilities, including two triple-section sports halls, a sports hall for artistic gymnastics, full-size football patches, a swimming pool and a diving pool, open-air and indoor athletics complex, weight-lifting rooms and a water sports centre.
