Artificial grass pitches
Every training camp held at the CST will include at least one session on an artificial grass pitch (Brochin and/or Cardada). If for some reason the natural grass pitches cannot be used, the CST will arrange for an alternative programme on artificial grass and indoors.
Football boots
Boots with detachable studs are not permitted when playing football.
Care of pitches
Our staff carry out regular maintenance on the natural grass pitches – and users also have an important role to play. Observing the following rules during training will ensure the best training conditions, and also help to prevent injuries:
- Avoid the area around the goal as much as possible during training.
- Coordination and strength exercises should be done outside of the marked playing area.
- Change the position of movable goals regularly.
- Use the sidelines.
- Use the dedicated pitches for goalie training.
- Replace divots after every training session.
- Do not ride or drive anything (cars, lifting platforms, bikes, scooters, inline skates etc.) on the pitch.
Users will be fined for any damage they cause by not observing these rules.
Securing goals after training
Goals must be taken to a special area and secured with padlocks following every training session. They can be carried, or they can be moved using trolleys available for this purpose; they must not be pushed across the grass.
Costs
A flat fee is charged for each training session, which includes cutting the grass and marking out the pitch. Users must inform the CST in writing if they do not want the pitch to be marked out, otherwise marking will be billed in accordance with the price list. Lighting and changing rooms are subject to additional costs.
Matches and tournaments
Matches and tournaments are generally played on artificial grass. This also applies to training sessions in the form of friendly matches. Requests must be submitted to the management in writing at least 10 days in advance. The participating teams are responsible for finding referees.
Care of facilities
The playing fields, changing rooms and theory rooms used must be kept as tidy and clean as possible.
Football boots must not be worn inside the buildings for any reason. They are to be cleaned after training using the five covered cleaning stations. It is not permitted to knock dirt off boots near building entrances. Failure to comply with this rule will result in additional charges for cleaning costs.
Storage room
Teams that train at the CST for longer periods can request a storage room for their equipment. Equipment trolleys must be parked outside the pitch on hard ground.
Laundry service for kits
The CST offers a laundry service for training and match kits (13kg for CHF 35 or 20kg for CHF 45). For further information, please contact reception.
