Sailing

The CST offers the opportunity to practice sailing on Lake Maggiore. The CST’s nautical center includes four Laser class boats, eight RS Zest boats, and a Toura class boat. It also provides life jackets, wetsuits, and neoprene shoes. Additionally, two inflatables and a support boat are available.

Groups are advised to take at least three two-and-a-half-hour lessons over a period of a week to acquire the necessary skills and familiarity with the craft.

Safety

Y+S courses must take place under the supervision of qualified and recognized Y+S instructors with a valid lifesaving qualification recognized by the the Swiss Lifesaving Association. Groups (with one instructor) are limited to a maximum of 8 people. If necessary, groups can contact Sisport Sagl to book qualified instructors. The recommended minimum age to practice this discipline is 10 years. For more information and details of the sport safety requirements at CST, please refer to the links below.
