Golf

Golf is the art of hitting a ball into a hole using clubs of various shapes and sizes, taking as few shots as possible. A full-sized course has 18 holes. It was formerly a rather exclusive sport for the wealthy, but has become increasingly popular and is now played by more than 50 million enthusiasts worldwide. Some seven million of them are young people. As a discipline, it demands technique, endurance and mental toughness. It also builds character and develops social skills and emotional maturity.
