To play handball successfully, you need to be fast, tactically smart and able to shoot accurately. Handball is an attractive, dynamic sport combining a strong, coordinated attack with a solid defence, in which the goalkeeper has an important role. It is played mainly indoors. Outdoor handball has declined in popularity. There is also a beach version, enjoyed mainly by younger children.
