Floorball is a dynamic, fast and intense team sport. It was first played in the Scandinavian countries in the 1980s and has since become increasingly popular. The sport is now practised worldwide by players of both sexes. It has many fans in Switzerland, especially in schools, and is the third most popular sport in terms of club membership.
