Experience the thrill of the wind in your hair and the sensation of gliding over the waves while drawing on your coordination skills and adapting to the elements. Windsurfing is pure dynamics in a natural setting. Ongoing technological developments have made access to this discipline even easier, whether you practise it in calm or rough waters.

CST provides opportunities for windsurfing on Lake Maggiore. Groups are advised to take at least three two-and-a-half-hour lessons over a period of a week to acquire the necessary skills and familiarity with the craft.
We have two kinds of equipment: 36 windsurfing craft with boards and sails of different sizes (plus shoes and wetsuits); 26 stand-up paddle boards, which can be brought into play when there is no wind.
Weather forecasts are available from the CST water sports facility.

Y+S courses must be supervised by instructors with a Y+S-recognized qualification. Other courses must be supervised by instructors with a Swiss lifesaving qualification. If necessary, groups can contact Sisport Sagl to book qualified instructors. For more information and details of the sport safety requirements at CST, please refer to the links on the right side of this page.
