Catamaran
CST has four catamarans called “RS Cat 14”, which are the most suitable vessels for introducing beginners to the sport. Each boat can accommodate a crew of two young sailors and offers greater stability compared to monohulls.
These catamarans are ideal for beginners: they allow users to experience the thrill of sailing on the lake without the fear of capsizing and do not require particularly windy days to move. The boat’s control system is very easy to use and takes little time to learn.
Safety
Y+S courses must take place under the supervision of qualified and recognized Y+S instructors with a valid lifesaving qualification recognized by the the Swiss Lifesaving Association. Groups are limited to a maximum of 8 people. If necessary, groups can contact Sisport Sagl to book qualified instructors. The recommended minimum age to practice this discipline is 10 years.
